Claimed as both waterproof and dustproof, the Aquas (AQ) line of fans meets IP55 standards and can also be built to any specified level of waterproofing. Capable of being immersed to a depth of 3’ with no ingress of moisture, the series targets applications where harsh environmental conditions exist and components need protection against direct or indirect sprays of water, extended exposure to salt spray or air containing fine dust particles. The fan has an operating temperature range from –10°C to +70°C and a life expectancy of 50,000 hours at 25°C. It can be supplied fitted with a range of IP protected connectors, extended lead lengths, and threaded inserts where installation is difficult.
