The RCC products offer similar performance characteristics to beryllium copper (BeCu) parts and, reportedly, will work in 80% of all applications where BeCu is in current use. Additionally, RCC material is said to provide better stress relaxation properties than many other substances, resulting in higher quality and longer life spans.
