Fluorosilicone Gel Stands Up To Hydrocarbons

June 21, 2011
A two-part, white, fluorosilicone gel that resists hydrocarbons, FS-3502-1 is used to fill small gaps and backfill electronics in applications that require solvent and/or fuel resistance.

A two-part, white, fluorosilicone gel that resists hydrocarbons, FS-3502-1 is used to fill small gaps and backfill electronics in applications that require solvent and/or fuel resistance. With a 1-to-1 mix ratio, it bonds aggressively with most surfaces and cure can be accelerated with heat. With a low Type ’00’ durometer, FS-3502-1 exhibits low modulus and absorbs stresses incurred during thermal cycling. NUSIL TECHNOLOGY LLC, Carpinteria, CA. (805) 684-8780.
