Fuse Series Extends Current Ratings

The established the Accu-Guard II low-current series fuses now offers extended current rating components that include 200-, 150-, 100-,  62.5-, and 50-mA versions in 0402 packages. The fuses exploit thin-film and land-grid array (LGA) technologies to achieve precise control of the component’s electrical and physical characteristics. This is a feat that is supposedly impossible with standard fuse technologies. Target apps include handheld devices, i.e., cell phones, PDAs, two-way radios, and video/digital cameras. They also suit hard-disk drives, LCD screens, computers, instrumentation, battery chargers, and rechargeable battery packs. Typical prices range from $0.15 to $0.29 each depending on volume.
