The newest members of the TEKNET handheld enclosure line incorporate a battery compartment. Typical applications include in-field test and measurement instruments, medical devices, and data loggers. The ergonomic enclosure also has soft-touch edge grips for secure and comfortable holding during use. Case material is off-white or black ABS with a textured finish. Grips are in contrasting light gray or dark gray elastomer. Special colors can be molded. External dimensions are 6.10" x 3.78" in heights of 0.79", 0.95" and 1.11". The top part is recessed for easy location of a membrane keypad. This battery compartment model will accept two 1.5V AA cells or one 9V cell. Screw pillars are incorporated in the top and base moldings for fitting PCBs. Assembly is by four self-tapping screws. Enclosures can be modified to certain specifications. Pricing starts at $14.
