Poised for 3D applications, Toshiba Imaging unveils what it calls the world’s smallest three-chip HD camera head measuring 1.6 inches and weighing 2.3 oz. The 3CCD IK-HD1's camera head delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution at 30 fps. It employs Toshiba’s proprietary 3CCD prism block technology and eliminates the rolling-shutter artifacts that are present on many CMOS-based cameras.  A comprehensive menu allows custom scene painting and adjustment. C-mount lens mount, RS232C serial interface, and multiple outputs for HD-SDI (SMPTE 292M), analog RGB, or Y/Pb/Pr are standard. TOSHIBA AMERICA ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS INC., San Jose, CA.
