Integrating a heat pipe and dense copper fins in one cooling unit, the M08-08-330-65-140 heat pipe channels more than 500W of heat sideways and dissipates it efficiently through its high-density copper fins. With a total length of 13", the heat pipe measures 8 mm2. The fan and heat sink measure 4.5 in.2 and 5.5" x 6" x 2.5", respectively and the copper spreader measures 4" x 6" x 0.5". For applications that use less power, the S08-150-30-45 can cool loads up to 50W. Typical applications are for RF transmitter, power supply, battery charger and laser devices. Compact cooler for notebook PC applications and heat pipes of various diameters and shapes are also available.
