Combining the time proven precision and stability of the photo-optical sensor with SMD electronic circuits allows the PX624 Series of transducers to provide exceptional performance with accuracies of ±0.05% or span or better. For barometric and absolute range sup to 30 psia, long-term stability is ensured by the inclusion of a getter material in the evacuated reference chamber. The material acts as a sponge to absorb stray gas molecules as they are released from the surface of the reference chamber. This ensures the integrity of the vacuum reference over time.
