Claiming to deliver high-speed rotation at an exceptional price, the URB100CC high-speed rotation stage targets motion apps requiring fast moves over larger angles or continuous rotation at very high duty cycles.  Typical applications include LIDAR, 3D imaging, and film thickness measurements of semiconductor wafers. Instead of a worm gear, the component employs a belt drive that provides significantly higher rotation speeds up to 720° per second. Other features include a proprietary four-point contact ball bearing, a two-piece design providing rigidity and reliability while minimizing wobble and eccentricity, and position feedback provided by a motor-mounted 2000-point rotary encoder.
