The Series 8651 to 8653 vent panels are claimed to be an economical approach to solving the dual problem of ventilation and shielding. These panels are supplied with 0.25" thick honeycomb secured in a 0.3" aluminum frame.
Thin screen panels are offered with two options, either a thick woven wire or thick perforated metal, 0.062" thick screen. Typical shielding effectiveness values are up to 50 dB at 10 GHz.
Other features include light-weight construction, low resistance to airflow, and they are available in a variety of finishes including chromate and tin. The ready-to-mount frames are provided with all-mesh Monel EMI gaskets and mounting holes.
