Low-Noise AC-DC Linear Supply Meets Analog Objectives

March 13, 2013
The Model 22-100 linear power supply developed by Calex Mfg. features a tightly regulated ±15-V output that provides ±100 mA of output current. With its low 2-mV rms output noise, the unit is tailored for powering sensitive analog circuitry. Output voltage accuracy is ±0.5%, and line and load regulation measures ±0.04% maximum. Input-voltage options include 100, 115, 220, 230, and 240 V ac; ac input frequency ranges from 50 to 60 Hz. Isolation voltage is 1000 V rms, while isolation resistance tops out at 50 MΩ. The epoxy-encapsulated, 2- by 3- by 1-in. unit can be used in a variety of environments. Case operating temperature ranges from −25 to +50°C; temperature coefficient is ±0.01%/°C. Foldback current limiting protects all units.CALEX MFG. CO. INC.
