Made to house the company's E7 variable frequency drive (VFD) for commercial HVAC applications, its standard NEMA 3R enclosure offers a full range of E7 power and voltage ratings, as well as control, communication, and power options. Four voltage ratings are available: 208V, 3-phase, 5 to 150 HP; 230V, 3-phase, 5 to 150 HP; 480V, 3-phase, 5 to 500 HP; and 230V, single-phase, 5 to 75 HP. Shared features include an operating altitude of 3,300' without derating, a maximum relative humidity of 95% non-condensing, and an operating temperature range from -10°C to +40°C at the default carrier frequency or -10°C to +50°C with the output current derated. Additionally, the enclosure carries a UL Type 3R label and has been designed to provide protection against rain, snow, and sleet, as well as defend against airborne dust particles as small as 10 µm.
