The Preseal compounds use silver as the conductive medium and can be injection molded into complex shapes and sizes; they can also be extruded or over-molded with other materials. And in addition to providing EMI shielding, the compounds can handle grounding and shock absorption assignments, as well as serving as heatsinks due to their relatively good heat conductivity.
