The LIGHTRAY OFX fiber-optic product is targeted at applications requiring an above-average number of fibers to be routed to multiple connectors in either regular or irregular routing patterns. The device, which performs the equivalent function of a printed circuit for fiber-optic arrays and harnesses, is designed to be a non-parallel equivalent to ribbon fiber and is available in single or multimode versions. Fiber-optic circuits can be made in up to 22" x 22" patterns and terminated with additional lengths of ribbon fiber and connectors. Typical insertion loss of the circuit, not including connectors, is less than 0.3 dB.
