The Hero model optical temperature sensor is designed for extremely fast response time and low thermal sink effect. In fact, the sensor's response time measures less than 1 ms. Designed to mate with the company's optical signal conditioners, the unit is completely immune to electromagnetic, electrical, microwave, and RF fields and can operate in harsh environments. The device, with its diameter of 150 µm and thickness of 100 µm, enables a low thermal sink effect. The Hero costs $895 per unit.
