The Endevco model 8510B miniature piezoresistive pressure microphone delivers precision measurement of high-intensity sound in demanding environments. With ranges of 1, 2, and 5 psig, the component offers a 300-mV full scale output and a sound-pressure level (SPL) range of at least 100 to 190 dB. Other features include integral temperature compensation from -18°C to +93°C and shock survivability up to 20,000g. The microphone uses a 10-32 thread for mounting and metric threads are available on custom order. MEGGITT SENSING SYSTEMS, San Juan Capistrano, CA. (949) 493-8181.
