A flange-mount plastic nut, the XCF-1800 is designed for use with 3/16" and 1/4" leadscrews, making it well-suited for 5-lb. load capacity applications such as small consumer electronic devices, disk-drive mechanisms, computer peripherals, and more. This newest member of the XC-Series employs a patented technology, ActiveCAM, to achieve zero backlash and consistent and minimal drag torque. ActiveCAM employs a rigid, stainless steel cam that automatically rotates and produces high axial rigidity, without sacrificing life, torque or positional accuracy. The XCF-1800 nut doesn't need additional lubrication, which makes it ideal for clean environments and areas with difficult access. A thread-mount version is also available.
