Targeting meteorological and barometric reference applications, the series 970 intelligent barometric quartzonix pressure standard combines vibrating quartz-beam technology with low-power digital electronics. The standard claims to achieve better than a fully compensated 0.01% full-scale (FS) pressure measurement with a long-term stability rate of better than 0.01% FS per six months.
For communication, the instrument includes an RS-485 serial interface that allows for a network of up to 31 transducers on the same bus. Available in a variety of barometric pressure ranges with pressure output in a variety of engineering units, price is $2,800 with a delivery time of 12 weeks ARO.
