Available in single-, double-, and four-pole models, the MR series 0.5"-diameter, process-sealed, logic-level rotary switches employ a positive-detent mechanism and self-cleaning contact mechanisms, which promise high contact reliability. Achieved via sliding contacts in the MRA model and rotary contactor disks in the MRF and MRK, contact timing is break before make. Features common to each model in the series include 30° indexing, molded-in PC terminals, adjustable stopper plates, a mechanical life of 30,000 operations, and an electrical life of 10,000 operations minimum. The MRA and MRK are panel-mount switches with metal bushings, exterior rubber washers, and double-flatted bushings. Behind-panel body depths range from 8.2 mm to 17 mm. The MRA withstands 250 mA at 125 Vac or 48 Vdc while the MRF handles 0.4 VA at 28 Vac/dc. Screwdriver actuated, the MRF version supports 0.4 VA at 28 Vac/dc maximum and sports a polyamide cover to allow cleaning after automated soldering. NKK SWITCHES, Scottsdale, AZ. (480) 991-0942.
