The MSTM-S3-IT3 simplified control timing module operates from -40°C to 85°C. It functions as an efficient design for Stratum 3 clocks in a timing card application. The 5-V miniature timing module features redundant 8-kHz references. It acts as a complete system clock module for Stratum 3 timing applications in accordance with GR-1244, Issue 2 and GR-253, Issue 3 specifications. The unit is designed for use in remote or external locations where the environment isn't controlled. The Stratum 3 timing module targets Sonet, TDM, SDH, and PDH applications, including switches and routers. The MSTM-S3-IT3 costs $220 each in 1000-unit lots.
