A one-part epoxy and chemical resistant, EP17HT-3 sets up in 20 to 30 seconds and snap cures in two to three minutes at 250°F to 300ºF. No mixing is required and the epoxy can be cured in sections up 0.25” thick. Working life is indefinite as it will not gel until heated above 200ºF. With a volume resistivity of greater than 1,014 Ohm-cm, the epoxy is said to exhibit excellent electrical insulation and chemical resistance characteristics. Other features include a Shore D hardness that exceeds 85 and a tensile lap shear of 2100 psi. MASTER BOND INC., Hackensack, NJ. (201) 343-8983.
