The FHS501AH half-size, eight-pin DIP, oven-controlled crystal oscillator is particularly suitable for portable devices.

The FHS501AH half-size, eight-pin DIP, oven-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) is particularly suitable for portable devices. The HCMOS device measures 13.2 by 13.2 mm with a profile of 9.0 mm. Its small size is due to the use of a smaller crystal, which in turn allows many other components to be reduced in size. The FHS501AH delivers a high-frequency stability of ±4.6 ppm and a frequency range of 10 to 80 MHz. Supply voltage is 5 V ±5%, and operating temperature range is 0°C to +70°C. The unit is RoHS-compliant. The OCXO is specified for Stratum III services. Its operating power is 0.5 W at 25°C, and its control voltage is 0.5 V to 5.0 V. Typical applications range from GPS and time-code instruments to base stations, test equipment, synthesizers, and digital switching equipment. The FHS501AH OCXO costs $52.25 each in quantities of 1000. Delivery is 16 weeks after receipt of an order. For more information, go to www.foxonline.com.
