Smart-Home Sensors Leverage ULE Technology

Five smart-home sensors developed by Everspring integrate ultra-low energy (ULE) technology, specifically DSP Group’s DHX91 system on a chip (SoC). ULE technology, widely regarded as the next generation of home automation and monitoring standards, enhances range, video and audio support, battery life, and DIY installation. In addition, a dedicated frequency band eliminates interference. The DHX91 employs an ultra-low-powered ARM processor coupled with an RF transceiver plus audio and video capabilities. With their ULE-enabled extended range and star topology, Everspring’s sensors eschew the need for repeaters. Ultimately, ULE will allow for seamless connection to one gateway with numerous devices, such as motion sensors, window contacts, smoke and flood detectors, and thermostats.
