For designs where size, cost, and possible end user disposal are critical considerations, the surface-mount Model TRSIE-1105 audio alert targets applications such as portable medical units, consumer usage material, and a myriad of industrial and telecom markets. The component, an internal-drive, electro-mechanical unit, measures 12 mm x 12 mm x 6 mm and provides a sound output of 90 dBA minimum at a frequency of 2.4 kHz, ±500 Hz. It is available in two voltage ratings: 5 Vdc at 15 mA and 12 Vdc at 20 mA. Operating temperature range is from -20°C to +70°C and packaging is PC plastic in black as the standard color.
