SMT Pressure Sensor Offers Extended Range

The company's surface-mount basic pressure sensor is available in standard pressure ranges and what is said to be an unprecedented 10" H2O pressure range with virtually zero position sensitivity. RoHS compliant, the component comes as either a gage or absolute pressure sensor in packages that can be configured with a ported or non-ported lid. It measures 0.3" x 0.3" in an 8-pad leadless chip carrier and is available in pressure ranges of 10" H2O, 5 psi, 15 psi, 30 psi, and 100 psi, as well as an absolute pressure device with a range of 15 psi.
