The LS350 laser-steering optic allows one-step setup of the company's ML10 laser measurement system. The optic device is said to speed up linear, angular and straightness measurements for calibration of machine tools and coordinate measurement machines. By sliding horizontal or vertical control levers, the LS350 steers the laser beam for adjustment in both horizontal and vertical planes. The device provides a beam sweep of ±2° in both planes for axes up to 5-n long. Compatibility with swivel and fixed-turning mirror accessories enables use for 90° setups, as well as in line. The device is available with new ML10 systems or as an accessory for older systems.
