The PM0402 series multilayer, surface-mount chip inductors target high-frequency designs. Their monolithic construction provides high reliability, and ceramic material ensures stable electrical characteristics. The devices have an inductance range of 1 to 56 nH and a dc current range of 150 to 300 mA. They have a high Q value and operate from −25°C to 105°C. The PM0402 parts measure just 1 by 0.5 by 0.5 mm and are available in tape-and-reel packaging with 10,000 parts per reel. The inductors cost $0.10 to $0.12 each, depending on quantity ordered.
