The NFL18ST surface-mount electromagnetic interference (EMI) filter is available in the small 0603 size. It produces a roll-off rate (60 dB/dec) three times sharper than standard three-terminal capacitors and offers performance comparable to 1206- and 0805-sized products. Its sharp roll-off rate suppresses noise effectively with little or no signal attenuation and maintains a clear waveform. The company's multilayer technology yields a high level of insertion loss while minimizing stray capacitance of the inductor element. The EMI filter is available in five different cutoff frequencies ranging from 100 to 500 MHz. Samples of the NFL18ST start at $0.30.
