Tactile Domes Feature Integrated Actuators

Featuring a reverse dimple on top of the dome that serves as a built-in actuator, the TC-Series tactile metal domes allegedly improve switch performance over typical metal domes.

Featuring a reverse dimple on top of the dome that serves as a built-in actuator, the TC-Series tactile metal domes allegedly improve switch performance over typical metal domes. Reportedly, they perform more consistently than conventional metal domes if an actuator is located off-center. The TC-Series metal domes promise consistent force and tactile response when used with larger diameter actuators, assuming those actuators are positioned over the built-in tactile concentrator. Another benefit is that the built-in actuator helps to correct off-center actuations. SNAPTRON INC., Windsor, CO. (970) 686-5682.
