Transducer Handles High-Pressure Apps

Oct. 8, 2008
Poised for heavy-duty environments including hydraulic controls, HVAC systems, engine controls, industrial processes, off-highway equipment, compressors, and pumps, the 3100 Series pressure transducers exhibit a footprint of less than 1" in diameter.

Poised for heavy-duty environments including hydraulic controls, HVAC systems, engine controls, industrial processes, off-highway equipment, compressors, and pumps, the 3100 Series pressure transducers exhibit a footprint of less than 1" in diameter. The component employs thin-film technology and a unique custom ASIC offering performance with an accuracy to 0.25% full scale, long-term stability of 0.1% per year, and thermal stabilities accurate to within 1% per 100°F over a compensated temperature range from -40°F to +250°F. Available in pressure ranges from 100 psi to 30,000 psi, the transducers offer a wide variety of outputs: 0 to 5 Vdc, 1 to 5 Vdc, 0.5 to 4.5 Vdc, 1 to 6 Vdc, 0 to 10 Vdc, 4 to 20 mA, and 0.5V to 4.5V ratio metric. Also available are a range of pressure fittings and connectors plus the voltage units are available with a dual temperature-and-pressure output. SETRA SYSTEMS INC., Boxborough, MA. (800) 257-3872.
