Based on the company's new Pluto temperature compensation IC, the CFPT-9050 series of temperature-compensated crystal oscillators operate at any output frequency between 1.0 and 80 MHz. The series meets the stability and frequency pullability requirements of all SDH/SONET clock requirements up to and including Stratum 3. The TCXO comes in an FR4-based, 14 mm x 9 mm SMT package with a footprint that is compatible with industry-standard six-pad SOJ-20 devices. The device can achieve Stratum 3 stability even at a 77.76 MHz output.
In addition to offering stabilities within ±0.3 ppm between 0°C and +70°C, the device can be specified for operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C at ±1.0 ppm stability, or -55°C to +105°C at ±1.5 ppm. Aging is a maximum of ±3 ppm over 10 years. The device is priced between $15 and $100 each according to specs and quantity.
