The chip contains a mic preamp, automatic level control, ADC, DAC, headphone amp, and speaker amp. With a power supply range of 2.6V to 5.5V, a convenient multi-power system enables optimal power to be specified for each circuit block in the device. It delivers a full range of recording and playback functions, including an internal MUX for line input selection, digital de-emphasis filter, and a 0 dB to -50 dB analog volume control.
