Receiver Decoder Enables Secure Remote Control

Sept. 15, 2010
For security-oriented RF remote control systems, the KDEC code-hopping receiver employs ever changing 32-bit encrypted hop-code, which is encrypted using 64-bit manufacturer code and 28-bit serial number for security.

For security-oriented RF remote control systems, the KDEC code-hopping receiver employs ever changing 32-bit encrypted hop-code, which is encrypted using 64-bit manufacturer code and 28-bit serial number for security. The decoder has a standard frequency of 433.92 MHz and is optimized for use with the company’s KFX2 key-fob transmitters or KTX2 transmitter modules. An erasable secure learn function allows up to 16 different transmitters to be remembered. Additionally, the receiver operates from a 9 to 16 Vdc supply.
