Specified for operation on a voltage supply range from 3V to 7V, the company's latest MOSMIC RF transistors are designed to serve as gain-controlled input stages in digital and analog TV tuners. The S505TY and S506TY are optimized for UHF and VHF amplification, respectively, and the dual TSDF02830Y amplifies both UHF and VHF. Each of the transistors feature a soft-slope AGC range, integrated gate-protection diodes, and self-biasing network. The S505TY and the UHF amplifier of the TSDF02830Y exhibit a forward transadmittance of 31 ms, an input capacitance of 1.9 pF, and a typical noise figure of 1.3 dB at 800 MHz. The S506TY and the VHF section of the TSDF02830Y provide a forward transadmittance of 28 ms with an input capacitance of 2.5 pF and a typical noise figure of 1.5 dB at 800 MHz. Available in a variety of packages, prices start at $8/100. For further information, call Paula Scinto at VISHAY INTERTECHNOLOGY INC., Shelton, CT. (203) 445-5501.
