OVM7692 debuts as a complete VGA camera IC that includes DVP parallel and MIPI serial output interface support, automatic luminance detection, and EMI protection
The OVM7692 debuts as a complete VGA camera IC that includes DVP parallel and MIPI serial output interface support, automatic luminance detection, and EMI protection. Groomed for tier-one handset manufacturers, it employs a proprietary OmniPixel3-HSTM architecture, which reportedly delivers almost double the sensitivity and low-light performance (960 mV/Lux-sec) of comparable sensors. The chip measures 2.8 mm x 3.2 mm x 2.5 mm, a desirable characteristic for slim camera phones, notebooks, and netbooks. Sampling now, the OVM7692 is currently entering volume production.
