The P1 set is a pocket-sized Mini Burst Field Generator for development-stage troubleshooting of PCB assemblies. It generates Burst or ESD disturbance fields and helps identify weak points in selected areas such as GND structures, traces, IC pins and vias. Different probes enable targeted magnetic, electric-field and direct capacitive coupling, helping distinguish between coupling mechanisms. Battery-powered operation and the compact design allow flexible use directly at the developer’s workplace without a complex test setup.
