The Engineer's Assistant - a PIC16F84 Project

The Engineer's Assistant is a handheld probed that acts as a:

1 Serial Data Receiver
2 Single Channel Logic Analyzer
3 Logic Probe
4 Frequency Counter

The instrument is battery operated and all data is displayed on a 2X20 LCD display. I found this project in the Microchip Applications Notes Section some time ago. But, it was only recently that I also found the source code that goes with it. Credit goes to Voja Antonic who created the original design and to Eric Grindheim who collected all the support files. Visit Eric's site at http://www.qsl.net/la9sja/electronics/ea/ to see his details on this project as well as photos of the final assembly.
