How often have engineers found themselves having to type data into their application software from an instrument display, or key in hand-written values, even though the instrument has an RS-232 port? WinWedge 32 Pro eliminates that scenario by inputting data from any device attached to a PC's serial ports into any Windows application in real time. The device extracts required information from the serial data stream and inserts it into applications such as Excel, Access, MMIs, LIMs, or statistical or math software. Data may be collected from scales, gauges, bar-code scanners, flow meters, or any instrument and fed directly into fields or cells in databases or spreadsheets. WinWedge 32 Pro can also fully control instruments and serial devices.
