Adding another level of performance, the infrared DRAGON SFH 4236 extends depth to the IR DRAGON family by maximizing radiant intensity from a small form factor.

Adding another level of performance, the infrared DRAGON SFH 4236 extends depth to the IR DRAGON family by maximizing radiant intensity from a small form factor. Designed for applications that require narrow radiation characteristics from limited board space, the SFH 4232 achieves a typical radiant intensity of 650 mW/sr at a dc current of 1A, more than three times that of the standard IR DRAGON. The device emits at a wavelength of 850 nm. The component integrates a lens that concentrates the emitted infrared light within a viewing angle of ±20°, eliminating the need for an external lens assembly.
