Sophia Mobile selected Raza Microelectronics' Alchemy Au1250 Processor for its first full-featured PMP mobile phone with touch screen display. The Alchemy Au1250 is a high-performance, low-power processor that gives system designers an easy-to-use, simple solution to create full-featured portable solutions with reduced design cycle times. And the System-on-a-Chip (SoC) architecture integrates with numerous peripheral components on the market. The Sophia Nani, unveiled at the Wireless Japan 2007 event in July, is a full-featured PMP phone that integrates multimedia capabilities like Wi-Fi, camera, TV tuner, and Video. Powered by Microsoft Windows CE 5.0, the Nani features a 4.3-inch touch screen display with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, dual cameras, and a fully integrated digital TV tuner as well as a GPS navigation system.
