The LaserWave series of spectrometers for laser and LED measurement plug into PCs and cover a spectral range of 200 to 1600 nm. Along with a simple display of FWHM and peak location, the software allows eight tests to be overlaid so differences in optical devices are easily recognized. The LaserWave is designed to be compatible with LabVIEW instrumentation software, and data is compatible with Excel spreadsheet analysis. The LaserWave-I is optimized for 750 to 1050 nm for laser diode and LED measurements. A wider range LaserWave covering 400 to 1000 nm is integrated into the Olympus BX60 microscope for spatially resolved wavelength measurements with a spatial resolution of 10 microns.
