The company has recently verified its Visual Enhancement Engine (VEE) and Display Power Optimizer (DPO) technology with OLED displays. Reportedly, the VEE greatly enhances the viewability of OLED displays under adverse conditions such as low brightness modes or bright ambient light by optimizing video characteristics to provide a better user experience. Working with VEE, DPO technology lowers display brightness, consuming less power and extending battery life. The VEE and DPO technology are currently available in the company’s CSSPs built from the ArcticLink II VX solution platforms. QUICKLOGIC CORP., Sunnyvale, CA. (408) 990-4000.
