The Skyquest ALPHA-2600-01 10.4” and ALPHA-3800-01 15” standalone video displays promise to speed and simplify the integration of rugged video displays into size, weight, and power constrained airborne military, paramilitary, and search/rescue platforms. Both support a 1024 x 768 (XGA) resolution and provide numerous I/O options for compatibility with a wide range of EO turrets, cameras, moving maps, and PCs. The displays also employ dual LED backlighting technology that enables a very high brightness, full color display for direct sunlight readability in daylight missions while also offering optional night-vision-goggle filtered backlighting. Options include a touchscreen with USB interface. For more details and prices, contact Jerri-Lynne Charbonneau at CURTISS-WRIGHT CONTROLS EMBEDDED COMPUTING, Ontario, Canada. (613) 254-5112.
