The 120-MHz SH7261 series of high-performance 32-bit microcontrollers (MCUs) targets car and home audio products with audio data playback functions compatible with MP3, WMA, AAC (Advanced Audio Coding), and other compression standards. The processor delivers 288 MIPS and 240 MFLOPS. The SH72611 models provide a two-channel controller-area network controller, while two SH72612 models provide an IEBus controller. All have a 10-bit analogtodigital converter, an 8-bit digital-to-analog converter, and a serial communication interface. Pricing starts at $14.80.
