MERs Spec Sub-Ohm On Resistance

Oct. 8, 2008
Identical except for package type, the PVY117 and PVY117-T microelectronic relays (MERs) specify a maximum on resistance below one ohm at 0.95Ω. With no moving parts, the solid-state relays prove to be smaller and more reliable with lower power

Identical except for package type, the PVY117 and PVY117-T microelectronic relays (MERs) specify a maximum on resistance below one ohm at 0.95Ω. With no moving parts, the solid-state relays prove to be smaller and more reliable with lower power consumption than electromechanical relays. Features include bounce-free operation, an off-state blocking voltage of ±40V, off-state capacitance of 14.5 pF, off-state leakage current of 1 nA, and turn-on and turn-off times of 200 µs and 100 µs, respectively. The PVY117 is available in an SOP4 and the PVY117-T comes in an SOP4 T&R. Prices are $2.75 and $2.80 each/10,000, respectively.
