Branching out to include portable, automotive, and entertainment applications, the ADSP-BF561 integrates two identical Blackfin cores, supports symmetric multi-processing (SMP), and specifies a performance of 750 MHz and 1,500 MMACs per core. Each core can share memory blocks and peripherals, allowing for true SMP while providing total control over system partitioning. Additionally, the single-core ADSP-BF533 Blackfin processor has been enhanced for performance up to 750 MHz. Prices for the ADSP-BF561 and ADSP-BF533 are $39.95 and $31.95 each/10,000, respectively.
