Addressing a diverse range of OEM applications, the company's custom dc gearmotors are available in sizes from 12 mm to 50 mm with cut steel gears for high-strength designs, plastic gears for low-noise requirements, and low-cost powered metal motors. With ratios from 5:1 to 3,000:1, the motors are suitable for pick-and-place, medical testing equipment, robotics, toys and games, valve and door actuation, ROV fin and steering actuators, appliances, manufacturing, security applications, and assembly operations. The inline and offset output shafts can be custom machined with cross holes, splines, keyways, and flats, or end drilled and tapped. Output torques range from 41 oz.-in. to 500 oz.-in. with a typical peak torque of three times rated torque. Other offerings include 3 to 24 Vdc motors with no-load speeds to 6,000 rpm and incremental two-channel encoders with quadrature outputs and an optional index channel.
