Available in diameters ranging from 35 to 56 mm, a new line of geared stepping motors promise high power outputs at low speeds. Configured as direct drive or two-phase synchronous gearmotors, they operate on 5 or 12 Vdc from most conventional stepper controllers.
Speeds range from less than 1 rpm up to 600 rpm with static torque up to 300 oz.-in. and operating torque up to 200 oz.-in. With step motor angles of 7.5° or 15°, the motors achieve gearbox output resolutions to 0.0056° per full step. Typical applications include positioning equipment and instrumentation devices in medical, telecom and defense industry environments.
