The latest version of TestStand test executive software is aimed at decreasing test time and cost-to-test for various products by employing parallel testing techniques. With TestStand Version 2.0, users can automatically test multiple units in parallel to increase test throughput. The upgraded software includes a set of built-in synchronization tools to schedule and manage parallel tests and achieve the optimum balance between test throughput and equipment use. As a result, the company says, manufacturers can significantly increase testing efficiency and ultimately lower their cost-to-test. TestStand 2.0 includes built-in project management tools and an XML reporting feature. In addition, an instrument connectivity feature lets users directly connect to instruments via Interchangeable Virtual Instruments (IVI) drivers. Pricing starts at $2,995.
