Combining high energy current handling with low voltage protection capabilities, the Flashtrab Plus Control is said to be a lightning arrestor with superior longevity and robustness. The device is designed to shunt 50 kA of surge current as tested to the long duration IEC 61312 10x350 µs lightning test waveform. The surge current is dissipated while holding the residual voltage below 900V. The lightning arrestor is available in a space-saving DIN rail mount package ideal for wireless communication equipment. It is also available in a NEMA 4 enclosure for indoor and outdoor service entrance protection. For more information, contact PHOENIX CONTACT INC., Harrisburg, PA. (800) 322-3225.
